For some of our services like hall hire, we need to use your personal data so we can get in touch and or provide you with the services you require and invoice you for the services we provide. If you do not provide the information we request we may not be able to offer you certain services.

Maintain our list of members.
For subscribed users and members of our text alert service we will provide funeral alerts and tell you about upcoming events and promotions.

We may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.
From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, phone, fax or mail. We may use the information to customise the website according to your interests.

Retention of data
Member details will be retained until our members instruct us to remove their data or cancellation of membership.
Text Alert Service subscriber details will be retained until they choose to opt-out. (see details to opt out below)
Demographic information and screen preferences will be stored as a cookie for 12 months.
Putting things right (the right to rectification)
You have a right to obtain the rectification of any inaccurate data concerning you that we hold. You also have a right to have any incomplete data that we hold about you completed. Should you become aware that any personal data that we hold about you is inaccurate and/or incomplete, please inform us immediately so we can correct and/or complete it.

Deleting your records (the right to erasure)

Text Alert Service - Opt-Out
If you wish to unsubscribe MKA Text Alerts at any time simply reply to an existing MKA Text Alert with the text message *STOP*, we will respect your descision and remove your number.
Data Portability
We will respond to any data portability requests made to us without undue delay and within one month. We may extend the period by a further two months where the request is complex or a number of requests are received but we will inform you within one month of the receipt of the request and explain why the extension is necessary.
Withdrawal of consent
