RABI-UL-AWWAL –EID MILAD-UN-NABI PROGRAMME 2013

Rabi-ul-Awwal is the holy month when our Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) was born. This was the first ever EID MILAD-UN-NABI Programme held in the history of the MKA and also a first ever Muslim Community Centre to hold this Event, which took place at the MKA Centre on Friday 8th February 2013 in the main hall of the centre which was decorated with special banners, flags and bunting marking this special event. The guest of honour was Hafizur Rehman from Masjid Bilal, who led the event. Naats were prayed by several people and there was a talk on the reason why we hold Milad and about MKA history. At this event we got to also know that we had a lot of Khatri’s in the community from all age groups who had such talents of praying Naat’s. The event was attended by over 100 people and was a huge success.  MKA Committee Members were commended on how well the event was organised. The evening ended with everyone taking Niyaaz (jam puffs, crisp, apples and drinks) with them which were donated by Committee Members and well-wishers.
